About Protecfire
Protecfire was founded in December 2001 in Lübeck, Germany by Dipl. Ing. Roberto Solis, who has specialized in the field of industrial automatic fire extinguishing and suppression systems since 1986.
As a result of protecfire’s rapid growth and innovation in the early years, Fagus-Grecon GmbH, a German company founded in 1911 and specializing in spark detection technology and fire protection, joined forces with Mr. Roberto Solis and further expanded the company.
Protecfire’s humble beginnings were in the most dangerous sector, underground coal mining in Germany. At that time, there was no company capable of offering a suitable and high quality, purely mechanical, automatic fire extinguishing system using a liquid fine spray.
protecfire took on the demanding challenges and succeeded.
The company expanded its product range and today serves other industrial sectors including construction machinery, mining machinery, steel industry machinery, buses, wind turbines, commercial kitchens and much more.

The company holds several patents, including ultra-fast fire detection without electrics, fine spray technology discharge system, technology,detexline, self-cleaning nozzles and many other innovative technology solutions.

As a result of this high quality philosophy, protecfire has become one of the largest suppliers of automatic fire extinguishing systems in the German wind turbine and mining sector.
